Work.Life needed a vibrant co-working space in Old Street that reflected their ethos, artistic heritage, and the area’s dynamic energy.
Blending Industrial Character with Modern Design
The design celebrated the building’s industrial features while incorporating contemporary elements. Private offices, hot desking options such as railway and banquette booths, and standard desk setups provided flexible working arrangements. Vibrant colours inspired by the surrounding graffiti brightened the bookable meeting rooms, which were equipped with virtual conferencing capabilities, alongside dedicated Zoom Rooms and 1-person call booths.
Vibrant Spaces with Creative Functionality
On the lower ground floor, glazed ceilings and thoughtfully designed alcoves provided both informal and formal seating areas. The aesthetic combined bold paint colours, raw metal textures, and soft leather furnishings with a palette of deep blues, tans, and pinks. This carefully balanced design resulted in a modern industrial workspace that perfectly aligns with Work Life’s vision and the dynamic energy of Old Street.
