In collaboration with Modus Workspace, Platfform, and Quadrant Design, The Watches of Switzerland Group has transformed their Leicester headquarters into a contemporary, 75,000 sq ft workspace. This project focused on creating a future-ready environment that reflects the brand’s identity while prioritising their most valuable asset – their employees.

A contemporary teapoint area at the Watches of Switzerland Group headquarters featuring a sleek island with bar seating, warm wood cabinetry, and elegant lighting that creates a welcoming space for employees to connect and recharge.

The design needed to be adaptable, accommodating various brand identities within the Group while providing a welcoming space for long-standing employees. Inspired by nature, the building’s three floors were themed around earth, landscape, and sky, using natural tones and metallic accents to create a cohesive and elegant atmosphere.

Breakout areas were designed to blend comfort with functionality, drawing on hospitality influences. Wellness was at the heart of the concept and brief direction, with biophilic design elements, including extensive greenery, integrated throughout to enhance employee wellbeing and creativity.

This new headquarters exemplifies the seamless collaboration between Modus and Quadrant Design. The new workspace exudes elegance and sophistic by deftly merging nature-inspired elements with luxurious interiors that reflect the brand’s essence. More than just an office, it has become a destination, a nurturing space where employees can thrive and ideas can flourish. The design flawlessly embodies the retail quality seen in The Watches of Switzerland Group, Goldsmiths, and Mappin & Webb showrooms while maintaining the personality and culture that the brand holds dear.
