Modus worked with DXC Technology, a global leader in tech consultancy, to redesign their London workspace. The goal was to create a flexible environment that aligns with their evolving workplace strategy and accommodates new ways of working. With a longstanding partnership since 2013, Modus understood DXC’s needs and vision, delivering a dynamic hub that supports collaboration and innovation.

Project in Brief

  • Created a collaborative hub to encourage interaction and socialisation.
  • Incorporated DXC’s bold purple into a fresh, contemporary palette.
  • Retained existing infrastructure and used eco-friendly materials to reduce environmental impact.

Crafting a Space for the Future

DXC Technology’s shifting goals required a move away from their original Innovation Centre concept to a workspace that prioritises flexibility. Modus developed a versatile design featuring a mix of meeting rooms, focus areas, and open spaces that encourage spontaneous collaboration and creativity. The absence of traditional desks reflects DXC’s new approach to activity-based working, creating an environment where employees can come together, share ideas, and find inspiration.

The location in London, a global hub for technology and innovation, influenced the design’s focus on adaptability and collaboration. The workspace was crafted to align with DXC’s presence in a fast-paced, forward-thinking city, ensuring it meets local and global needs.

Bringing the Brand to Life

DXC Technology’s bold purple was incorporated into the design alongside neutral and complementary tones, creating a vibrant yet welcoming space. Scandinavian influences softened the corporate feel, with natural materials and clean lines adding warmth to the environment. This balance between functionality and aesthetics reflects DXC’s shift towards a more open and inclusive workplace culture.

Eco-friendly materials and a focus on retaining existing infrastructure further highlight DXC’s commitment to sustainability. The workspace now serves as a vibrant central hub for their London team, perfectly aligning with the company’s evolving needs and cultural transformation.
