Mental wellbeing is improved when employees are invited to participate in workplace redesign, according to a joint study from Gensler and the Royal College of Art.

As more organisations wonder how they can increase wellbeing and satisfaction amongst their employees, a design study seems to have found the solution. After holding a two-stage study over the period of a year, Gensler and the Royal College of Art have found that greater participation in the design of the workplace environment increases the sense of control and wellbeing of people at work.
