As designers, before the technology that enabled us to create 3D renderings with ease, we utilised traditional mediums such as paint and charcoal to bring our design visions to life.
In this book, we revisit this way of working, taking you on a nostalgic journey through time, admiring the beauty and artistry of our designs in their primitive form. Each brush stroke represents the marks made as a collective on not only the futures of our clients, but the emotional and experiential journey embarked on to reach these masterpieces. By the end of 2020, we will have been going for twenty-nine years. Our original idea - that companies should be using their offices as a key tool of their corporate strategy- is more relevant than ever. In the world's great cities, there is a battle for talent and markets like never before. Having a workplace that sets you apart from your competitors creates a significant strategic advantage.
How the years tick by! It feels as if I've only just written the introduction to the 26-year book, and now here's number 27. That makes us one of the oldest companies in office design and build, but we undoubtedly are the most exciting to work for and with. Despite a crowded market, Modus continues to be the benchmark for excellence in the design and build of workplaces.
