Kin & Carta tasked us with refurbishing their 11,500 sq ft office across three floors of The Spitfire Building in King’s Cross. The goal was to create a future-facing workplace that promoted flexibility, collaboration, and employee wellbeing while addressing challenges of acoustics and space utilisation.
Designing for Flexibility and Collaboration
To support a hybrid working model, we reduced desk density and introduced a variety of collaborative and flexible working areas. This approach encouraged employees to return to the office by providing diverse spaces tailored to different work styles. Acoustic issues from the original fit-out were resolved with suspended ceiling rafts in meeting rooms, significantly improving sound quality and comfort.
A Space for Wellbeing and Creativity
The refurbishment enhanced the sensory experience with improved acoustics, greenery, and thoughtful layouts. By catering to neurodiverse needs, the design supports analytical and creative collaboration, allowing Kin & Carta’s teams to thrive in a workplace designed for their best work.
Publicis Sapient, a leader in digital transformation, engaged us to reimagine their 46,000 sq ft workspace at 63 Turnmill Street. Our collaboration focused on creating a diverse environment that nurtures Sapient's community.
Gemserv, a professional services company, tasked us with transforming 77 Gracechurch Street into a workspace aligned with their brand and growing needs. Initially a Tenant-Ready™ fit out, the existing design set a high standard to maintain while incorporating their requirements for more formal meeting spaces and adaptable areas to reflect their evolving identity.
KPI OceanConnect, a global leader in marine fuels and shipping, approached us with a challenge to design an office fit out for their newly expanded floor that would facilitate smooth movement across two levels. With their sister company, Bunker Holding, relocating to the same building, the goal was to create a collaborative workspace that reflected their brand identity and workplace culture.
Wiser, a creative business services company, envisioned a workspace that reflected their vibrant identity while introducing new elements to inspire their team. With only eight weeks to complete the project and a strict budget, the challenge was to prioritise employee wellbeing and deliver an innovative biophilic design while incorporating standout features like a VW camper van meeting room.
