Four Modus projects have been shortlisted at the prestigious Mix Interiors Awards 2024

Project of the Year – Workplace Interiors – 5,000 to 15,000 sq ft: Private Equity Fund

Project of the Year – Workplace Interiors – 30,000 to 70,000 sq ft: Publicis Sapient

Project of the Year – Positive Impact: Joseph Joseph – a joint venture with their sister company Two

Project of the Year – Design & Build: Bentley Systems

Celebrating excellence in commercial interiors since 2005, the award recognises top-tier talent and innovation. Being selected by a panel of industry leaders highlights the exceptional quality and creativity of their projects. 

Private Equity Fund

Modus expanded a Marylebone-based private equity firm’s workspace into an adjacent building, creating a modern, club-like environment. Inspired by the client’s vision of a non-traditional office, this space prioritises employee wellbeing. Traditional desks have been replaced with flexible, collaborative areas designed for teamwork and communication. The workspace features both communal and quiet zones, including a barista bar and campfire area, creating a supportive culture that promotes personal growth and productivity.

Publicis Sapient 

Publicis Sapient required a modern workspace that balanced sustainability with innovation, designed to meet their dynamic needs with a focus on neurodiversity. Modus integrated recycled materials and energy-efficient solutions to align with their environmental commitments. Collaborative zones and a feature barista bar were key to encouraging employee interaction. Biophilic elements and a carefully selected colour palette catered to neurodiverse individuals, enhancing air quality and overall employee wellbeing.

Joseph Joseph

In collaboration with their sister company, Two, Modus transformed Joseph Joseph’s workspace through a sustainability-driven office refurbishment. The project emphasised biophilic design, incorporating greenery and natural light to promote employee connectivity and reflect the brand’s eco-friendly practices. The workspace blends bold colours with sustainable materials, creating a productive environment that encourages open communication and collaboration.

Bentley Systems

Bentley Systems’ workspace on the 43rd floor of 8 Bishopsgate is a model of sustainable sophistication. It showcases Modus’ design ethos and Bentley’s boundary-pushing spirit. Features like a transformable cocktail bar and state-of-the-art experience studio highlight Bentley’s commitment to excellence and innovation. This workspace sets a new standard for modern, sustainable design.
