We partnered with Alchemy Asset Management to deliver a transformative refurbishment at The Dock in Kings Langley. This project won the Refurbished and Recycled Workplace category in the Midlands & Central England region at the BCO Awards 2022.

Creating a Flexible and Future-Proof Workspace

The refurbishment of The Dock transformed the building from a back-office space into a multi-let with a strong identity. Timber-cladded walls, upgraded LED lighting, and agile working areas were key design features alongside a new balcony. The project delivered high ESG credentials, including a WiredScore Gold rating, AirRated Gold, and Fitwel 2-star certification.

Meeting the Client’s Vision

The space was designed to cater to various needs, with flexible meeting booths, a kitchenette, and abundant planting in communal areas. Future-proofing was ensured with mechanical system upgrades and the installation of EV charging points. The outcome is a sustainable, functional, and award-winning workspace that exceeded expectations on both design and budget.
