CCP Games, a global leader in the gaming industry, partnered with Two to design their new London office at Tea Auction House. Known for their innovative games like EVE Online, CCP Games wanted a workspace that reflected their playful and creative culture while offering the functionality needed to support global collaboration. The design merges the vibrancy of CCP’s Icelandic headquarters with the character and history of London, creating a dynamic environment tailored to their team.

Project in Brief

  • Created a collaborative workspace in the historic Tea Auction House.
  • Incorporated a teapoint, gaming room, and flexible breakout spaces.
  • Balanced playful design with advanced AV systems for global collaboration.

Collaboration and Play

The office design puts collaboration and creativity at the forefront, aligning with CCP Games’ brand identity. A central teapoint serves as the social hub of the office, encouraging informal gatherings and encouraging interaction among employees. This welcoming feature supports teamwork and creates opportunities for cross-functional collaboration. A dedicated gaming room allows for game development and testing as well as relaxation and socialisation.

The layout features open-plan desking and flexible breakout spaces, allowing employees to balance collaboration and individual focus. These areas are designed to adapt to evolving team needs, ensuring the office remains functional and engaging over time. This dynamic approach supports CCP’s creative processes and commitment to gaming innovation.

Functional and Stylish

Two incorporated bespoke tiling, acoustic panels, and advanced AV systems to deliver a visually engaging and highly functional workspace. The playful design elements, including vibrant finishes and gaming-inspired decor, are balanced with professional touches that reflect CCP’s commercial focus. High-spec technology enables seamless communication with their global teams and allows for future upgrades as the company grows.

Situated in the heart of London, the Tea Auction House’s location influenced the design, combining a sense of historical significance with modern functionality. The building offers a unique backdrop that complements CCP Games’ innovative spirit, creating a workspace that inspires employees and visitors.
