Two partnered with Work.Life to transform key areas of Waverley House in Soho into a vibrant coworking space. The project presented unique challenges, including a last-minute redesign of the fifth floor just a week before the fit out began. This required quick thinking, adaptability, and a creative approach to integrate the new design with existing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Project in Brief

  • Redesigned the fifth floor under tight timelines to meet evolving client needs.
  • Integrated Soho-inspired themes with bold design elements and vibrant colours.
  • Sustainable materials used throughout, including carbon-neutral panels and eco-friendly paints.

Where Creativity Meets Soho Style

The design draws inspiration from Soho’s eclectic character, blending bold aesthetics with functional workspaces. On the ground floor, themed meeting rooms reflect the neighbourhood’s rich cultural history. The ‘Pride’ room bursts with bold colours, celebrating diversity and self-expression. ‘Pages’ offers a calm, bookshop-inspired setting with warm, inviting tones, while ‘Soho Square’ incorporates lush greenery to bring a touch of the outdoors inside.

This creative narrative extends to the fifth floor, where materials and finishes create visual continuity. Black timber flooring adds depth and contrast, while a striking copper island unit in the communal area serves as both a focal point and a gathering space. A neon quote in the teapoint injects a playful touch, capturing the bold spirit of Soho.

Sustainability in Design

Eco-friendly materials were selected to minimise environmental impact without compromising style. Dulux’s sustainable paint range provided vibrant, long-lasting colours with a lower carbon footprint, while Autex’s carbon-neutral acoustic panels improved sound quality and contributed to a healthier indoor environment.

Furniture and fixtures were sourced, focusing on durability and recycled content. The result is a workspace that looks dynamic and aligns with Work.Life’s commitment to creating environmentally responsible spaces.

A Dynamic Coworking Hub for Modern Professionals

The revitalised Waverley House is a bold, creative coworking space that embodies the spirit of Soho. The design blends cultural references with functional work environments, offering a mix of private offices, collaboration areas, and social hubs.
