Work.Life’s newest coworking location at the Courtyard Building in Hatton Garden is a confident, design-led space that reflects the brand’s ambition to evolve the way people work. Delivered by Two, the 32,000 sq ft project transforms an existing building into a dynamic workplace with strong links to its surroundings.

Taking inspiration from Hatton Garden’s jewellery history, the interiors are defined by rich colours, faceted materials, and playful references to gemstones. Each floor is designed to balance practicality with a sense of individuality, an approach that’s seen the introduction of Work.Life’s first dedicated event space and its first podcast and screening room.

Gemstone and Graphic Details

The design takes cues from the textures, shapes, and colours of precious stones, creating a visual language that runs throughout the building. Meeting rooms are named after gemstones: Topaz, Amethyst, and Sapphire, while 3D-moulded glass detailing on the ground-floor bar draws attention to a striking central feature.

The scheme brings a bold but refined palette into each space, from dark wood tones in the breakout areas to softer hues in the focus zones. Spatial planning was developed around different work modes, enabling a smooth transition between collaboration and quiet time, all within the same footprint.

For a Growing Community

Work.Life’s team wanted the Courtyard Building to offer more than just desks, a place for connection, creativity, and content creation. The dedicated event space sits as the heart of the layout, designed to support community talks, panel discussions, and social gatherings.

A bespoke podcast and screening room sits on the lower ground floor, adding a new level of functionality for hybrid events, filming, and content recording. Existing skylights were incorporated into the design to retain natural light and create a comfortable environment across all levels.
