Fora is a rapidly growing flexible office space provider with over 60 distinctive workspaces. Since 2020, we’ve helped Fora expand their presence in London, this time at Henry Wood House – setting a new standard for co-working spaces.
In brief:
- Expanded Fora’s flexible workspace offering with nine-floors at Henry Wood House.
- Delivered a full design and build solution emphasising thoughtful design.
- Created a sophisticated, community-driven environment.
Reinventing history
Creating office spaces that are both functional and aesthetic is vital, especially in a competitive sector. We collaborated closely with the Fora team to define what Henry Wood House would represent for their brand.
Our goal was to create a calming, diverse environment. We carefully restored the flooring and introduced eco-conscious materials, ensuring every detail balances hospitality-inspired design with collaborative workspaces.
Community driven design
The design is a sophisticated post-modernist style without complexity. Dominant design features throughout the building are deliberately meaningful, making each area both functional and aesthetic. Every floor contributes to the collective experience.
You’re greeted by a natural, warming palette, colours echoed in nature. It’s a deliberate choice for a workplace that nurtures wellbeing and respects the planet.
The reception boasts a contemporary feature that draws the attention and compliments the abundant natural light.
The ground floor offers a welcome city retreat, with a state-of-the-art gym, a lush private garden and unique wellness sanctuary. The shared communal spaces are designed to create a community energy and offer the choice of privacy.
We met every challenge with creativity and thoughtfulness, a testament to an ongoing partnership. By taking the project from RIBA Stage Two to completion, we’ve successfully created a workspace that stands as a beacon for the future of Fora’s tenants.
